Author Pete Fleck - dark experiences reborn into fiction

I first met Pete Fleck back in 2008 when he was working as a police officer in Brownsburg, IN. Pete served in multiple roles while maintaining a position as a drill instructor with the United States Army. While his professional endeavors would keep most people very busy, Pete always found time to pursue other interests which include, to this day, martial arts, chess, and writing.

I am fortunate to have had a front row seat in watching Pete grow into an author. His first circulated work, The Plight of (name redacted to protect the sexy), was written about a coworker of his and had comedy as a central theme. While written in jest, it was immediately clear that Pete possessed a way of writing that was engaging and entertaining.

As Pete has published and sold books since 2023, his focus has been on redemption stories. He draws on the dark things he has witnessed and experienced in his time as a drill instructor for the United States Army as well as a police officer and turns those experiences into fiction. Pete produces strong characters that consume a reader, making it very difficult to put the stories down. As of today, Pete has published three books; Caged, Angel Templar, and the newest, Before They Were Monsters. All three are available on Amazon and will keep you captivated from start to finish.
